Usually chocolate crackles are full of sugar and for the kids, but our cane sugar free chocolate crackles are a delicious guilt free adult version. Sweetened with dates and rich in protein as well as antioxidants from the raw cacao these are way too good for the little ones.

- 3 cups Good Morning multi puffs or any dry puffed breakfast cereals
- 4 tablespoons Absolute Organics raw cacao powder
- ⅔ cup packed pitted fresh dates
- ½ cup Absolute Organics coconut oil, melted
- ¾ cup coconut chips
- a small pinch sea salt (optional)

Line a 12 hole patty pan with paper patty pans.
Pour the melted coconut oil, cacao powder and pitted dates into a food processor and blitz until smooth. In a large bowl, place the puffed grains, ¾ of the coconut chips and the salt (if using it). Stir in the date, cacao and coconut oil mixture until well mixed. Divide into 12 and spoon into the patty pans, packing the mixture down slightly. Top with a few coconut chips and refrigerate until set. These will keep in a covered container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Makes 12.
