If you like zingy, sweet and spicy Asian inspired flavours then our chilli jam pork skewers are just for you! Made with Australian pork and prepared in about 10 minutes, this delicious recipe is a must when you next fire up your BBQ.

- 1kg pork shoulder, cut in rough 3cm cubes
- 4 tablespoons chilli jam or hot sweet chilli sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 medium garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger,grated
you will also need
- 8 soaked wooden skewers
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped (optional)
- 1 lime, cut in wedges (optional)

In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Stir occasionally to make ensure all the pork is covered in marinate and for the flavours develop.
When you are ready to cook, divide the marinate pork into 8 and thread onto the soaked skewers. Preheat your BBQ or large frying pan to medium high. Cook the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning often until they are golden brown, caramelised and cooked through.
Sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves, then serve with fresh lime wedges and salad or stir fried rice and don’t forget extra chilli jam.
